Self drilling low profile wafer head screws are to BS EN 14566 standard.. They can drill straignt into thin sheet metal without the need to pre-drill saving time. These have a philips drive screwdriver head.
It is important to get the correct tensile strength using the correct self drilling tek screw diameter and length to provide a secure fixing.
These are silver organic coated fasteners which is a preventative measure from corrosion. Ideal for using outdoors or in damp or wet environments. Also bear in mind using different materials can cause fusing through corrosion especially in damp conditions when mixed with aluminium or stainless steel materials.
